Hello! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and the rest of the wonderful staff here at Spinal Diagnostics & Treatment Center. My name is Fionnuala McElligott, Facility Administrator. I began my career in spine care, working as a nurse with Dr. Richard Derby at a local Bay Area hospital. We worked at a unit that specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of spine patients. During the time that we worked together, a joint vision emerged. We dreamed of creating a highly specialized spine care facility that would provide unsurpassed levels of patient care and service. We wanted to engender an atmosphere of patient care, where patients are treated uniquely in every step of their diagnostic and therapeutic processes. Thus, Spinal Diagnostics & Treatment Center was born.

No two patients nor their physical history or symptoms are alike. The majority of our patients suffer from long-term chronic pain that has resisted diagnosis and treatment by conventional means. Our facility is technologically state of the art, designed to provide the most modern and up to date diagnosis and treatment for patients with spine disorders. The combined forces of Dr. Derby, Dr. Chen and the experienced staff of Spinal Diagnostics continually revolutionize the field of spine care.

Chronic spinal pain is not a life threatening condition. However, it can disable patients from work and other activities and prevents them from fully enjoying their lives.
